I/ Salvation & SIN
The sin that binds me – Romans 6:14 “For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace.”
Salvation secures my place in heaven.
I sin every day in thought, word and deed. The Bible says: “All have sinned and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). “The wages of sin is death” (Romans 6:23).
Eternal death means separation from God in the lake of fire – for ALL ETERNITY (Rev. 20:14-15).
This is the Gospel of Jesus Christ (Romans 1:16).
“Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved”(Acts 4:12).
II/ SAVED AND BE SURE
“He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life. These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may KNOW that ye HAVE eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.” (1 John 5:12-13).
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” (Rom. 6:23).
God has a plan for each of one of His children but until we are saved we cannot see His will fulfilled in our experience.
Find a Bible-loving Church and obey the Lord’s command to be baptized by full immersion as a testimony of your identification with Christ in His death, burial and resurrection. Make the Great Commission your life work.
Remember: You cannot do anything to merit salvation nor can you do anything to maintain your salvation
“For by grace (undeserved favour) are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them” (Eph. 2:8-10).
