Kindness is an active goodwill toward others. It not only feels generous, it is generous. It not only desires others’ welfare, but works for it.
What Are You Hunger And Thirst For?
The result of hungering and thirsting for righteousness, is being satisfied. Jesus in this beatitude pronounced that those who hunger and thirst for righteousness will be filled or in other words completely satisfied.
Meekness Is Necessary
Meekness means power put under control. A person with meekness is described this way, “He who is slow to anger is better than the mighty, ... As a human attitude, it meant being gentle of spirit, meek, submissive, quiet, and tender-hearted.
LOVE IS PATIENT
Love’s patience is the ability to be inconvenienced or taken advantage of by a person over and over again without becoming upset and angry.
Mourn and Comfort
Mourning over sins brings forgiveness of sin, and forgiveness of sin brings freedom ... for as long as we mourn over sin He is faithful to comfort.
Repentance from Sin
Repentance literally means to have ‘a change of mind’, but biblically it also speaks of ‘a change of purpose’, specifically a turning to God for salvation.
Come to The Amazing Grace
The work of salvation is finished. God’s righteous demands against sin have been fully and completely satisfied. God raised His Son from the dead and has highly exalted Him. He now lives and has overcome death and the grave on your behalf.
You May Live Long
Children are to submit to their parents .... God has graciously added the promise of special blessing for those who are obedient to this command.
