The Body of Christ

I am a child of God, living among the sons of men.

My body is a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God.

So I refuse to conform to the pattern of this world,

and I choose to be transformed by the renewing of my mind.

I am equipped by the Spirit of God to do His will today.

I am gifted with special abilities to serve God and others,

and I will use these gifts seven days a week —

in my neighborhood, at my office, wherever I am.

I will love my brothers and sisters in the church,

the body of Christ, because we are members of one another,

and we belong to one another.

And I will show genuine Christian Love to the people

outside the body of

Christ, even to my enemies.

That is my purpose in life.

That is why God has redeemed me and placed me in the

body of Christ . . .

to bring GLORY to His name.

AMEN
